ABOUT BREATH

BREATH, the California Smoke-free Bars, Workplaces and Communities Program, provides technical assistance, educational materials, consultations and trainings for communities in California, the United States and around the world. We assist in the creation and implementation of policies to protect workers, the public and tenants from the toxic effects of exposure to second hand smoke.

BREATH is a statewide project of the American Lung Association of the East Bay. We are funded through tobacco tax revenues to carry out the goals and objectives of the Tobacco Control Section of the California Department of Health Services under Grant # 00-90379.
